About Sadie ~ Dalmatian x Kelpie (on trial 3/2/2018)
Hi I’m Sadie! I’m a 1 year old Dalmatian x Kelpie girl with the most beautiful blue eyes.
I promise I will follow you everywhere because I am the best companion and I want to be with you all the time. I am an inside dog and I love sleeping on the bed with you and love lots of cuddles. My favourite cuddling spot is on the couch with you while watching TV.
I am very intelligent and a very fast learner. Mum taught me to sit, shake paws and lay down. I know that it’s time to sit if the food or treats are coming. I live with cats, little husky puppy and another big dog and I get along with them well. My foster mum has been working on my training so I don’t get a jealous around them but it’s still work in progress.
I like a little bit of a rough playing so I would be most suitable for a home with a dog who likes it too. My mum says I have been fine with my human foster brother but she wouldn’t recommend a family with small children as I can be a bit bossy at times. I get quite excited while playing and I bark when I do that so this could scare the little humans if they don’t know me.
I sometimes get nervous about going places and mum says that’s because I’m just worried she will leave me there and not come back. I am a pretty good jumper so high fences would be great but don’t worry, once I’m settled and I know that all my friends and toys are on my side of the fence, I won’t even consider getting out. While you are out I will happily waiting for you to come home.
My mum is happy with how I walk on the lead, I can pull a bit at first but I settle down really fast. I also love the car and going for a ride. I absolutely loves to chew my toys and chew sticks so keep them coming.
If you are a family with loads of free time and maybe with a puppy playmate or older dog I would be the perfect dog for you.
For more information or to meet me, please contact Donna on trudgetty@hotmail.com. I am in foster care in Swansea, NSW and am available for adoption interstate.
My adoption fee is $500 and I am desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
