About Sophia
Aren’t I just the prettiest teacup Great Dane you’ve ever seen? No, there is not really any such thing as a teacup Dane, that’s just what I get called because I’m a little one. Actually I’m far from the average Great Dane. Look at my impressive muscles, I’ve more spring, speed and stamina than you’ve probably seen in my giant breed before. And just quietly I’m super clever too! Not that the average Great Dane isn’t clever but they don’t tend to work things out like I can. It’s because I’m active and I love to be busy. My foster carer is almost as clever, she’s found so many cool toys and puzzles for me to play with and get food out of while she’s at work. It keeps me occupied until she comes home to play, throw my toys in the pool for me to go get and give me another walk!
I’d love to be back on rural property where I can run my heart out but I can only do that if I have a fully fenced and secure house yard to keep me from getting into mischief when I’m not with my human. I can get super excited when I meet another dog but make doggy friends pretty easily and would love another high energy boy to romp and play with. I’ve lived with school aged kids and I quite like them so long as they give me space to bounce around.
For a while there I thought my name was ‘Boundary Pusher.’ Coincidentally everyone started calling me Sophia again once I realised I couldn’t get away with my usual cheeky tricks. I am adorable and affectionate. If you’re active, fun and up for a challenge to test your leadership skills, I might be the one for you. I do love to be a good girl and I absolutely can do it no problems with the right human. d
