About Phoebe ~ Dachshund X (on trial 25/11/17)
Meet Phoebe! She is an 8 year old Dachshund X. Phoebe is a gorgeous girl with a gentle personality. She gets along great with other animals (including cats) but especially loves the company of her humans.
Phoebe doesn’t like to be left alone so would definitely benefit from having a dog companion unless someone is home with her all day. Phoebe loves outside time and to run around the garden with her toys, even though she is 8 in January she still thinks she’s a puppy!
Phoebe sleeps at the bottom of the bed of a night time and loves to nap with you during the day if she can. If you’re looking for a beautifully natured little companion to add to your family, Phoebe might well be just the one for you!
For more information or to meet Phoebe, please contact her foster carer Lucy on 0435769220
or lucy@huntertennisresort.com.au. Phoebe is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Phoebe’s adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
