Hi there, my name is Sasha, and I am not really sure what is going on – I just don’t know whether I am coming or going right now. I have been in and out of a few homes recently and this has made me feel pretty unsettled. I am a shy girl who gets a bit confused – I seem to really like it when the adult humans come and scratch behind my ear when I ask for it, but then quickly get tired of it and become a little bit cranky. I think I just feel like this because I haven’t had a nice place to settle recently. I do like to have a good chat, especially around food time, and have such a beautiful coat (or so the people I am living with tell me). I think I like to play with some of the toys that are in my bedroom, but I try not to let anyone see me. I do feel braver at night time, so perhaps there is someone who is a bit of a ‘night-owl’ who might like some company when they are up working late; this might be a good place for me to go and live?
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
With lots of coming and going around different places, I really think I would be happier in a quiet home, without other animals. My foster human’s little people chat to me, and I don’t mind that, but I think it would be better if I was not around these little people too much as I do sometimes scratch (and I don’t want to upset anyone). I really am not keen on having dogs and cats around – they make me a bit cranky, and I prefer to hide out in the cupboard when they come and sniff around.
Likes / Dislikes
I do enjoy a good scratch around my ears most of the time, and love my food. I enjoy biscuits morning and night, with a nice bowl of wet food for dinner. I feel pretty sure a quiet house would be the best kind of home for me – this is somewhere that I think I could get a little bit more confident, and become quite the smoocher (although I am not usually too keen to be picked up at the moment!). I just need someone who will understand that I like things a certain way, and not rush me to do things in a way that I am not used to.
