Buddy exudes a happy go lucky attitude, living life to the fullest and is always smiling. He loves going for walks and greeting everyone he meets by loving all the pats. He can pull initially but quickly settles into walking rhythm Buddy will need to continue with exercise and regular walks with his new family. Since being in foster care, his carers have realised that Buddy hasn’t been socialised much with other dogs. He is not aggressive towards them at all but hasn’t learnt the way of appropriate play. He is slowly learning how to play with manners while being in foster care from the resident dog. More socialisation with other dogs when he is adopted would be beneficial for him. Buddy absolutely loves water and has been known to go for a dip in the swimming pool or chasing the water coming out of the hose.
Buddy adores children and loves when they play ball games with him, or with any toys for that matter. He can accidentally knock over little humans when he gets excited so school age kids would be best.
He is very food motivated so future training with him will be a breeze. We do recommend that his new family do continue with his training so he can grow into a very well rounded dog.
Buddy has always been an outside dog but does love being inside so we have started toilet training with him and further toilet training will need to continue as he isn’t quite there yet.
He is an intelligent pup with a beautiful nature and deserves to be part of a loving home. He would like to be included in family activities and being able to snuggle up to his new family indoors as well as enjoying the great outdoors.
Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this amazing boy will be blessed with a gorgeous, sweet, eager to please dog that will complete any family.
