About Millie
Location: Hervey Bay, QLD
Hi guys! I'm a sweet and loveable girl with heaps of energy! I love to be around people and give heaps of kisses. Did I mention, I love kids? I love playing games and getting plenty of attention from them. I can't be off a lead out in the open as I get side-tracked and forget to come back and I need to be inside at night otherwise I sook. I love to play in water so I think beach time is the BEST! I am looking for a forever family who will shower me with love and affection and who will dedicate themselves to continuing with my behavioural training. I would love a family will take me out and about so I can explore and have fun with them.
A note from Millie's foster carer:
Look at Millie now, we are so proud of her, it's been a hard road at times. She still likes to slip out the door to have 'a chase me game' but to see her transform from a complete nervous wreck to a laid back beauty. It goes to show with a little bit of patience, stability, and love in the right places proves that every single dog that enters the system of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue can turn out to be someone's life long companion. We are so proud of her.
Medical notes
Millie has been micro-chipped. Transfer of details upon adoption.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to evaluate their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be retured into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0447175511 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
