About Butch
Butch is a good natured, lovable pup who adores his people and will let you give him pats for as long as you’d like! He also enjoys playing with the ball so would fit well in a family which likes playing fetch. He already knows sit and wait and is keen to learn more! Butch loves treats and is responsive to vocal commands so will be fun to teach new things.
In contrast to his name, Butch is a gentle and very friendly pup both with people and other dogs. Since his previous owner has moved away, he is looking for a home which will provide him guidance while he grows up and discovers the joys of the big wide world.
If you’re looking for a sociable dog who has good basic training and a great temperament but is still young and quick to learn then Butch could be the pup for you!
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Companion Animal Facility is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our facility in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the facility, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Companion Animal Facility by either cash, cheque or eftpos, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog - $265.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $165.00
Entire Cat - $185.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $115.00
The following is included with all sales,
Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm Treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Companion Animal Facility are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.

Please Note: The Goulburn Mulwaree Council Companion Animal Facility is closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
