Hey there, I'm Jager. I'm a goofy, lovable fellow who needs a new start in life. I love my people and I love my tucker. It might take me a little time to settle into a new home and I will need to be introduced to the wide world slowly. When you take me out on a walk I find that BBQ chicken really helps with my confidence.
I have been given some toys while I've been here and I'm just not sure what to do with them...they're soft and fuzzy and have funny colours. If you're the sort of person who can teach me about these things...that would be awesome.
I'm pretty smart for a big scruffy dog and love to learn new tricks. I might even be great at lure coursing or tracking if you show me how to do it.
Because I like to run and chase things it would be best if you didn't have any cats, backyard birds or pocket pets.....I don't think the term "thrill of the chase" would describe their felling for this game.
Ive met a few other dogs at the shelter and Ive decided that I would like to be an only child.
