About Pebbles
Pebbles and her brother Smudge were adopted from DCH as kittens, but unfortunately find themselves back in our care due to family circumstances. They have previously lived as indoor/outdoor cats, but in their later years have tended towards venturing out only onto the balcony.
Suddenly finding themselves in a new place after 10 years, they have been rather shy but nonetheless very affectionate when they courageously venture out. As older cats, they enjoy sleeping, of course, becoming more active and playful in the evening. Sounds like a perfect match for a working single or couple.
It would be lovely if they find a furever home together, but - from observations so far - they do not seem particularly co-dependent if you are interested in adopting only one of them.
Pebbles has bravely gained confidence among her flatmates over the short time she’s been in care, and now spends all her time with them when they are around. She loves to cuddle, has started to play, and has decided to sleep on the couch or on a cozy, fluffy blankie. Her photos don’t really do justice to her beauty.
Both have lovely 'bandit' markings and stunning, strokeworthy coats. Super soft, but shed little. The perfect combination!
They are de-sexed, microchipped and inoculations up to date.

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
