About Billy
Please meet Billy,
This adorable boy is very friendly and affectionate and loves all the attention you have to offer. He will be looking for a home where his people will be around a lot of the time to offer him loads of company and a doggy friend to keep him company when they aren't.
Billy is still young and has been known to chew and dig when he is bored or left alone so he does require a lot of stimulation to keep him entertained.
This cutie is toilet trained and will sleep all night on his bed inside. He loves being indoors to be beside his people as much as possible. He is very clever and has already learnt to sit, lay down and stay. He will also listen when he is told 'No'. Experience with his breed, will be a great advantage and further training will be a huge benefit to help him become the best family member he can be.
Billy has enjoyed the company of the other dogs he has met while he has been in our care. He walks well on lead although he can sometimes be reactive towards dogs when he is on lead which is possibly due to feeling restricted and therefore he may feel he needs to act defensively but off lead he has enjoyed running and playing with all the doggy friends he has met.
Our intention is to find Billy a home with a desexed canine friend to help him continue learning the important skills of what doggy life is all about and to offer his lots of company while his family are busy to prevent him becoming destructive.
A good sized yard will be a must for this boy so he has plenty of room to move and receive the daily exercise his breed requires.
Considering his size and strength, he will be suited to a home without toddlers/young children as he can be a bit jumpy when he gets excited and NO CATS as he does enjoy a good chase.
Billy also loves the car and going for outings with his foster family. Social outings and regular walks will be a great way for him to bond with his new family and create trust in his new people.
If you believe you have the home Billy is looking for we look forward to hearing from you.
Currently in care in Cheltenham, Vic
Medical notes
Billy has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated while he has been in our care
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
