About Calau
Are you into big ears and loads of intelligence? Meet Calau!
This is a boy who we like to call our shadow. He loves being in human company so much, he will follow you everywhere he can.
Calau is great friends with his foster sister who he loves to play with and snooze next to. He can be a bit shy with new dogs and will seem quite enthusiastic by being vocal at first, but is really a sook and needs to gain some further confidence so he meets other dogs calmly instead. Continued socislisation will be very good for him and he'll enjoy the play also.
His training has started and is coming along. He is toilet trained and walking on a lead and learning basic manners too. He will sit on command and wait for about 4 seconds. He will listen and work for his treats, he knows who's holding them!
Calau is a very busy, active, curious, strong, smart boy and lots of fun to have around. He has a lot of energy to burn and currently gets two walks/ runs/ plays per day.
He would suit an active family preferably with breed experience who can ensure he gets the physical and mental stimulation he requires to keep him healthy and happy. Anyone wanting an intelligent dog for further training and or dog sports would do well with Calau.
This gorgeous by will need a family committed to his ongoing training and socialisation, have another larger doggy pal at home for company and preferably someone home most days too. He will thrive being included in all the family activities and being an integral part of the home. Calau should be allowed inside to be with his humans and be allowed to sleep inside.
If you think you can offer this boy an active, loving home, please complete an adoption enquiry form via the Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
