About Yamba
Meet Yamba and it’s not the town in northern NSW ….. but a delightful 8 month old puppy who was very timid and shy when she arrived in foster care a few weeks ago but has now completely come out of her shell.
Are you looking for a wiry haired, big eared bundle of joy then meet Miss Yamba, she’ll have you smiling from ear to ear with her little antics. She will stand on her hind legs when wanting attention – now that is super cute!!!
She is super friendly and just loves company and will cuddle up beside you whenever you sit down and would make a great movie buddy, as long as you share the popcorn!!
Yamba also loves other dogs and is currently in care with two other small dogs (male and female) and she loves nothing better than playing with them. She doesn't mind what type of games, she just adores playing and hanging out with doggy friends. She has yet to be introduced to cats, so we don't know what she'd be like with moggies. The cheeky girl does like chasing lizards in the garden.
Training is going well and Yamba is still learning to walk on a lead. She has basic manners and is house trained too. She adores food, so any training will be made much easier with a few tasty treats around! She does travel well in the car and has shown no signs of separation anxiety either.
She will best suit a home with another dog or someone home most of the time, where she’ll be part of the family and involved in all their activities. She will need to be indoors at night in a safe, cozy bed.
Yamba will make the perfect addition to any family that is committed to further training, exercise and socialisation. If think you can offer this cutie a loving, secure home, please apply by going through the adoption process listed below.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
