About Rigby
Meet Rigby.
Rigby is a smart, loyal boy. He's currently in foster with two other dogs and his foster mum has even gone as far as to say he's smarter than both of them. He knows all his basic commands and then some, like shake and high five. Rigby is toilet trained and walks well on lead, although he's learning how to approach other dogs on lead at the moment, but is completely fine with them when off lead.
He gets on famously with both his foster siblings, they love each other and do everything together. Rigby will be looking for a young active female dog in his forever home who shares his love of play and isn't offended by him giving the a lick on the cheek.
Rigby loves his food and has the best "poor me, I'm hungry" face, even when he's just eaten. He will give you the biggest smile when he's finished his food as if to say thank you and will roll over for a tummy rub.
As previously mentioned Rigby is dog social, however is still showing signs of agitation with other dogs only when he is on lead. This is something that will improve with time and effort being put into his training.
Other than that Rigby is describe as the "perfect dog". He is funny, affectionate, super smart and loyal. He is best suited to someone home more often than not or a retired couple. Rigby will also need the company of a female dog, he doesn't like being without the company of a furry friend to play with.
When Rigby came to us he chased his tail constantly, since putting him on medication though he has almost completely stopped and if he does do it (out of habit) and is told to stop he does so.
** Essential Criteria: Rigby must be rehomed with another social dog **
---
All of our dogs are sterilised, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to their adoption being finalised.
Medical notes
Rigby is currently on medication to help with his tail chasing
