About Lacey **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**

Lacey and her sister Cagney came to the rescue after traveling down from Mildura in a van with barking dogs. Understandably, they were a little shy and frightened but over the last month, they have truly come out of their shells.
Lacey is a stunning little girl who loves to play with her sister but also had no fear meeting the resident cats - all she wanted to do was give them head smooches and in time, they have welcomed them. She has a stunningly soft coat which in the sun has beautiful chocolate swirls through it as well as ginger and tabby. Lacey is very sweet natured but due to her upbringing, she doesn’t mind being picked up but for short periods and only when she welcomes it. In the last month she has even started sitting on her carers knees while they watch tv but has ants in her pants and more important things to do so they are short but sweet. She loves a head scratch and pat, but only when she is ready and again these are getting more and more frequent.
As she gets along so well with other cats, Lacey would be suited to a home either with her sister or an older resident cat. She loves to play so the interactions are great for her. She would also need a home that will be patient with her and show that people are nice and will look after her and keep her safe. Due to her nature, we would suggest that she be an indoor only cat or have access to a cat enclosure. She loves a good sun spot to watch the world but is more interested in playing than going outside. She does however LOVE wildlife documentaries, sitting in front of the tv watching all the animals and sometimes trying to catch them.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens are:
* desexed,
* micro-chipped,
* vaccinated and
* worm and flea treated.
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form/
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
If the adoption is going ahead, we ask that you pay on the day of adoption the fee as stated on the cat's profile .
Please note that we only accept cash.
We hand over a signed Change of Ownership form which you will need to send to the Microchip company after the two week trial period has expired.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
