About Mollie ~ Border Collie X (on trial 2/11/2017)
You cannot get a more good looking young lady than Mollie.
Mollie is a 2 year old Border Collie x Collie who is an absolute delight. She is super friendly and very good natured. Mollie does get a little excited to see people and jumps up to say “ hello “. She isn’t rough about it though.
Mollie has had basic training and can sit and come when called. Being a Border Collie, she is very smart so would enjoy and thrive with further training. Mollie has been an outside dog so isn’t a 100% toilet trained and would need some help in this area as she loves nothing more than to be near her family. She loves her inside time and wants to be included with the family. Mollie loves a walk and needs a walking harness as tends to pull on lead.
Mollie does come with one condition, she needs high fences. She enjoys exploring the outside a little too much so needs to have a secure fence that is 6ft high.
Mollie is dog friendly with dogs her own size. She is not great with small dogs and is better with males. She does love kids but would need to be older than 8 years old due to her jumping up. Mollie could be an only dog but someone would have to home most of the time as she enjoys company so having another furry companion would be a bonus. Mollie wouldn’t suit full time workers.
For more information or to meet Mollie, please complete this questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf and forward it to Sharron via email sstudley3@bigpond.com. Mollie is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
