About Juno
Darling Juno is the sweetest, gentlest doggy soul you could ever hope to meet. She came to us all the way from Fregon in the APY lands, with her last litter of puppies. They have all been rehomed now, and it is her time to find her forever home.
Juno was quite shut down when she arrived into our care, as she had had a hard time. For quite a while she just wanted to relax, was wary of the other dogs, and was too shy to come inside the house. With time, plenty of good tucker and her own comfy outside couch to lie on, she has come out her shell though. Now she sleeps inside, comes for walks with the rest of the mob, and plays with the other dogs (so long as they are not too boisterous). She loves her tucker, and enjoys a bone every couple of days. With the good food she is now looking a healthy weight and her coat is really shiny. She greets her human really sweetly with a characteristic little dance she does with her front legs and her head. Its just so cute!
We know that Juno does not have a mean bone in her body. She just wants to follow her human around and have a loving peaceful home. She has been exposed to people of all ages and is super reliable. Juno really deserves the best.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Juno's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
