Indi | Female Siberian Husky | 4 years old
 
Through no fault of her own, this beautiful, gentle-natured soul needs to find a new home that can offer her the love, attention and dedication that she deserves.
 
Indi is a stunning girl with a silver grey coat and the classic bi-coloured eyes (one blue and one brown). Legend says that huskies with these eyes have the ability to see heaven – whether that’s true or not, Indi will be a blessing to the family that takes her in and makes her their happily furever after furbaby.
 
Indi has a lovely temperament: she is affectionate, loves people and of course, loves and requires lots and lots of love and cuddles. She gets so excited when she meets someone and will happily have a chat with you about the happenings of the day.
 
She needs a companion/family that can give her all the attention she needs, including long daily walks, which are a source of real excitement! And don’t let the lovey dovey nature fool you! She can do zoomies around the yard just like any other husky and she loves a good run, especially along the beach. Indi’s furever family/companion must be able to keep up with her energy, and remember that she must be kept on lead when not in a fenced area- she will run and run and run.
 
Apart from walkies and other energetic endeavours, Indi loves splashing around in her shell pool and playing with (and destroying) toys – one of her favourites is tug of war with a rope!
 
True to her nature, Indi loves to be inside amongst her family either on the couch on someone's lap or curled up in a corner somewhere or under a bed. She also loves a brush and will lie down patiently and let you groom her. Like most dogs, she isn’t a huge fan of getting her nails clipped.
 
Indi’s favourite food is chicken breast and loves it with her high-quality dry food. She also loves a raw bone to chew.
 
Having attended puppy school, Indi is obedient and knows how to sit, shake and wait for her food until she is told to eat.
 
Indi would do well in a home with older children. While Indi has always lived by herself, she has always interacted well with other dogs and would love a suitable companion.
