About Django
This beautiful boy is a pleasure to have around. He loves life and loves to be involved in whatever is going on. While he walks well on the lead, he is brilliant off lead too, loving exploring, running around, and meeting and greeting people and dogs that he encounters. He is naturally obedient and comes back nicely when he is called. He is really friendly with all dogs and can strike up a game with any of the foster dogs, particularly enjoying a game of chasey or some dog wrestling. He also loves water and will play in the sprinkler, or chase the steam of water from a hose. He is reliable with people of all ages. Django loves a pat and is learning to sit nicely for a cuddle.
He is great in the house as well, fully house trained and has a lovely presence about the place.
With his bomb proof nature he would make a great family dog. At 16 kilos with a light athletic frame, he is a great size too. Django is currently in foster care in a home environment in Elliott.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Django's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
