About Heidi
Heidi was found abandoned on the Pacific Highway by a person passing through approximately 2-3 hours out of Grafton. He had taken her to a after hours vet to be scanned no chip no tag on her collar so someone said to bring her to us. We contacted the pound near where she was found they took all her details and after the required time we contacted them again without any result so we were given permission to go ahead with the vet work and to get her a home. She is a lovely playful young lady with lots of energy. She would make a great active family pet she gets a little anxious when left for long periods so needs a play mate or someone around during parts of the day. She is a smart young dog so would loved to be trained. She gets on well with other dogs of all types.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
