About Tigger
Tigger is a very affectionate, sweet and special tortie lady. She seems to have had at least some experience with 'home life' as she loves being right next to you all the time, has slept in bed with her foster parents from day one, and knew exactly what her litter tray was all about. :)
After a less-than-ideal start in life, lovely Tigger can't wait to find herself a wonderful home where she can feel safe, cared for and contented for the rest of her days. Her age is estimated at between 5-10 years.

MY IDEAL HOME: My gentle, lovebugging nature makes me an ideal companion for a person who spends a lot of time at home, and can give me all the attention and cuddles I could ever ask for. A quieter household without too much going on would suit me best - I'm probably not going to be at my most relaxed around young kids.
I have a skin condition requiring ongoing treatment and a hypoallergenic diet, which my new owners will need to be aware of and committed to.
With my delicate pink nose, I would also do best as an indoor-only cat.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a mature lady, so I enjoy more leisurely pursuits these days. Most of the time you'll find me asleep in one of my favourite sunny spots, or looking to you for cuddles... though I do have a weakness for my feather on a stick toy!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I've only met one child - a baby of nine months - and I was very gentle and friendly. Overall, I think kind, older kids who understand when I need my space would be a better fit for me than a young family.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't met any other cats or dogs since coming into foster care.
*In foster care in Queenscliff, Sydney*
Medical notes
She also has a skin condition requiring treatment and a hypoallergenic diet. Tigger's foster carers can discuss this further with potential adopters.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
