Milly is a young Kelpie X Staffy girl who is 4 months of age. She has a beautiful sleek, deep chocolate coat with an occasional while hair thrown in it for good mix. She is light on her feet and very agile. Milly is happy sleeping in her crate but will also take a spot on your bed if offered.
Being a young pup Milly is still working on a few things. The biggest challenge is to continue to find her courage. She came into rescue as a very timid little girl. Whilst she has come a long way, it will be an ongoing journey as she learns to trust more people - and most importantly finds 'her people'.
So what would her family look like?
* Have another friendly dog for company and to help be a role model for her (male or female).
* Good fencing (5ft-6ft).
* Her people (adults and kids) will be patient, kind and willing to offer her a calm and quiet home as Milly learns the routine and builds her trust.
* Her people will look for opportunities to train and engage her - both will help with bonding.
* She will do best being allowed to be with you when you are home (inside/outside).
* As a puppy, Milly still does things that puppies do including exploring and chewing. Her family will provide her with suitable things to chew and activities to keep her mind busy.
Milly is a beautiful young pup and with the right family will really blossom. Could it be you?
Medical notes
Milly has/will have the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ 2 x Vaccinations (C3 & C5)
~ Microchipped

Adoption details
Adoption Procees for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
