About Harleyquin the spectacular tortoiseshell cat
Harleyquin was a stray that was being fed by an elderly lady, who got her vet work done and let her live on her property with her mum Pippa and sister Cuddles. Sadly the lady went into care and then passed away, and the cats, while still being fed, were left to themselves and lost a lot of the socialisation that they had gained.
It has taken a while for that socialisation to be regained, and after many months in foster care Harleyquin's true personality has shown through! She is the smoochiest cat her carer has ever known, and loves to eat and play with her sister Cuddles. She still doesn't like to be picked up and held much, or to sit on laps, but her confidence has grown so much in her time in foster care that these things may not be very far away. She will very much reward a patient adopter who loves to watch her and her sister run madly around the house chasing each other and can give her all the pats she wants.
Harleyquin is a very attractive tortoiseshell cat. A work of art! She's been outside but is quite happy to now be an inside cat. Cat People will provide resources and training for anyone adopting Harleyquin, to help her become your perfect companion. If you want to make the effort with this gorgeous girl, we'll support you all the way.
Harleyquin is bonded with her sister Cuddles, and they must be adopted together, so there is a discounted rate to adopt them both. They are both fine living with other cats but have not been tried with dogs.
Medical notes
Harleyquin is a healthy cat who has been desexed, microchipped (microchip # 95301000296781), vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. She's ready to start her new life with you right now!
