Winston or Sir Winny Woo as we like to call him is a pocket sized gentleman. He is a gentle soul who likes nothing more than snuggling up with his humans. Winston is house trained and is learning how to use a doggy door.
Winston loves to go on medium walks and walks well on a harness and lead. Winston loves car rides and just hanging with his "peps". Winston due to his background is missing some teeth so a soft diet is his preference. He has had a dental scale and polish as well as some teeth removed.
Winston is comfortable with other dogs (as long as they are not too boisterous), cats and older children. Winston is a nervous boy who takes some time to trust but will steal and melt your heart once he does. Winston is more an inside dog, however does love to explore outside.
Medical notes
Winston has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed

~ Heartworm Tested

Winston has a grade 3 heart murmur (out of 6), no treatment or medication is required at this stage. Like any dog, he will require regular yearly health checks.
Adoption details
Adoption Procees for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
