Do you want to be adored? Yes? Well Jinda could be for you.
It would be hard to meet a more delightful kitty than Jinda. This sweet and gentle tuxedo lady loves affection – both giving and receiving. She will lie with you, nuzzle your hair, gently rub her cheeks against your nose and purr your troubles away.
She’ll even lie in your arms like a baby, head hanging over your arms, purring in contented bliss while you kiss her gorgeous tummy. And when she purrs, she really purrs. And purrs. And purrs. And purrs. And purrs. She’s purred for more than 30 minutes straight!
On cold winter nights, she will even be your furry electric blanket, sleeping under the doona against you to keep you warm.
When she’s not dishing out a truckload of love, she enjoys shimmying up scratching posts and playing with her brother Jabari.
Jinda is comfortable walking on a harness and lead – check out the video of her first outing!
She also gets on well with other cats, though humans seem to be her first love.
Jinda is a bit of a miracle kitty. Thanks to the dedication (and sleep deprivation!) of her foster carer, she and her brother survived a virus that claims the lives of 95% of kittens affected by it. Jinda is of Sanskrit origin and means ‘victor’. For someone who’s been through what she has, we think it suits her courageous spirit.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to meet this special lady. She’s in foster care in Diamond Creek with her equally gorgeous, equally miracle-y brother, Jabari, who she’d love to stay with.
Jinda is happy and healthy. She comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
After adoption, you will have a month trial period to ensure she's a good match with you. You will also have the peace of mind of a lifetime 'take back' policy, should you no longer be able to care for her.
Please click on the button 'Find out more about this Pet' to receive an Expression of Interest Form. One of our Volunteer Case Managers will explain our process to you. (Please note that completing the Expression of Interest form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.)
