About Willow
Willow has a beautiful nature towards humans and does really well with children. She loves to lay around on the sofa and relax in the garden. She needs a home that is calm, placid and relaxing. She would best suit a home with people around half of the day.
Willow is looking for a PET FREE home, sadly due to issues in her past she is not good with other dogs. She has some bad anxiety towards other dog, for this reason she must live alone and can never be off lead with or dogs or go to dog parks or doggie play dates. She will not cope well in these situations.
Willow came into rescue with a very shady and upsetting past. She was abused and not very well looked after. As a coping mechanism Willow chased her tail and spun in circles. She did it so much she needed some really heavy medication to help her brain relax for long enough for us to teach her how to be loved again. She needs to be with a family that will not yell or shout or raise their voices. This kind of behavour will send poor Willow backwards. Willow is on a few different medications currently which we are not decreasing, however some she may need to be on for life. Willow has stopped chasing her tail but may very easily be triggered to start again so it is important she goes to the right home that understands her.
Willow is happy at home in the garden, she had been around small children and loves to play tug rope!
Willow will go to her new home as a foster dog with a view to adopt her.
Please send an email to vbtr14@gmail.com if you would like to discuss Willow or fill out the below foster form.
