Meet Tobie.
Tobie is a character and he is semi obsessed with water loves playing with it so the perfect beach dog.
Tobie is a lovely dog that loves cuddles and attention. Initially he can be anxious around strangers but once he meets you and gets to know you he's just the sweetest bundle of fun.
Tobie currently lives with cats and dogs. He gets on well with the dogs and absolutely adores the cats. He is house-trained, knows his basic commands and is a gentle, loving boy.
As Tobie is still young, he does need a lot of interactive toys to help keep him entertained - sturdy squeak toys are his favourite. He does also love soft squeaky toys, and he is a very talented de-fluffer when it comes to soft toys! He is still trying to understand the concept of fetch and playing with balls, but he loves when water is squirted from the hose! It's hours of entertainment watching him chase the stream of water back and forth across the yard endlessly.
Prior to coming to us Tobie had never been taught appropriate introduction manners with other dogs. As a result of this when Tobie sees another dog, he can get easily overly excited and anxious in his need to meet this new dog. A calm & confident owner is needed to help guide Tobie to use appropriate doggie manners. He has come a long way in foster care but needs an owner who is willing to continue what the foster carers have start so that he will become calmer in meeting other dogs.
Tobie is extremely loving, he will give you kisses if you let him, he likes to get on your lap like a cat and he loves to lay on his back and have his belly rubbed. Tobie is very vocal with sounds if you tell him off he likes to talk to you and tell you he is sorry.
Tobie needs an owner who will give him boundaries but also one that will give him endless cuddles. If you are willing to give Tobie his forever home he will become an inseparable member of your family.

All of our dogs are sterilised, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to their adoption being finalised.

Adoption details
Ready to add a new canine to your family? There's an easy 5 step process to happily every after!
1. Application form is to be filled & returned
2. A home visit by a volunteer to sight fencing & discuss application.
3. Meet & greet with dog. At this stage, any existing dogs would be introduced.
4. Pay adoption fee and start trial period.
5. Adoption to be finalised at end of agreed trial period.
Please allow us time to receive & process your application. We are entirely volunteer-run, but we will return your enquiry as soon as possible.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
