About George
George is a whiz when it comes to training. A smart boy that was surrendered to us just shy of 6 months and had shown he really didn't know much at all.
Since arriving into foster care, he has made best friends with the resident toy poodle female who helps him understand the world. And he is especially loving the extra attention and admiration from his foster parents and room mates.
He is striving successfully in being toilet trained, showing that he adores the lead and going out to the beach and for walks, he LOVES food challenges such as Kong's, puzzle toys and balls and he is learning his basic obedience and recall famously.
George does show some present anxiety when left alone so will need a home that can continue his training to help him out of it. Someone who may be slightly experienced with dealing with anxiety with previous pets would be perfect.
He will need another dog in the home, ones that stable and confident and can help him understand everything he needs to do. He also loves to rumble and play so that's always a benefit for him for having a canine best friend.
He is gentle natured so a home with young dog savvy kids may suit him. And a home that wants to give him lots of cuddles, attention and also training.
He said thrive in a home that loves to train their dogs, and he may even make a great exercise buddy or beach best friend. Or maybe the new doggie sports star. Who knows. The opportunities are endless for this fella.
He hasn't met cats whilst in care but being so young and gentle we may say he could suit if introduced properly.
George is located on the Central Coast and his adoption fee is $400.
