About Keno
Does anyone feel like a bet? Odds are you can't go wrong with Keno! A gorgeous 1 year old Border Collie, Keno is ready and waiting to head off to his forever home.
Keno is an amazing boy who loves everyone he meets and is eager to please his human friends. He has tried the life of a working dog, but has decided that he would much rather be a member of his very own family.
He has made lots of friends here at the facility and we are yet to find a dog that Keno doesn't want to make friends with. Keno is not quite sure why cats were put in his world and he would best not to be rehomed with a cat in residence. Our testing shows that Keno does not appear to be worried about sharing his life with chickens.
A super intelligent boy, Keno already knows how to sit and we believe that he would be very easily trainable to learn lots more new things. To help with his continued training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee.
Keno loves to be out strutting his good looks around town and he has gorgeous lead manners. Although he has retired from his working life, he will still require regular exercise.
Because of his sociable nature, Keno would love to find a new home where someone is home with him or where he has another doggie playmate. He would love to find a home where he is included as part of the family and involved in the day to day activities. This incredibly handsome young man will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Keno's adoption fee is $375 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Keno is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
To enquire more or to meet Keno, please drop in to the facility or call 02 43044350 or email ccacfadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Keno is looking forward to meeting you
Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
