**Senior kitty alert!**
this gorgeous gentleman is Rodger and he is looking for adoption. I am Rodger's foster Mum and located in Morphett Vale. Rodger is estimated to be around 10 years old but still has a lot of love to give!
This old man is extremely low maintenance and affectionate - he sleeps in the bed with you and just wants a comfortable place to retire with food and love. He is OK with the resident dog who is calm and gentle but I don't think he would cope with young children or being bullied by other cats.
he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, worm and flea treated. He’s also just had a dental and can’t wait to show off his pearly whites!
Rodger is also FIV postitive so he will require a responsible indoor only home.
This is not a death sentence and he may live for the next 5 years without any issues. It just means he needs to be kept indoors only, fed good quality food and kept up to date with vaccinations...like every other cat! He simply has a lower immunity to normal cats. It can’t be passed to humans or dogs, it can only be passed to other cats through deep bite wounds and not by playing or sharing bowls.
