Hi there, my name is Cooper!

I am a super sweet boy who is ready to find a new home. I was unfortunately surrendered to Lort Smith because I was a bit naughty chasing after horses. Ultimately I found myself here as they didn't feel like their home was safe enough for me.

When I initially came to Lort Smith, I was very unsure of my surroundings. I was extremely shy but warmed up to the staff and volunteers here very fast and loved the cuddles I was getting. I am also coming out of my shell quite fast after I got to meet some furry friends here and they've reassured me that the world isn't so scary.

I am looking for a carer who can continue to work on my confidence building and socialisation. Ideally I would prefer a calm home as I can be a bit frightened of sudden movements and loud noises. I would also greatly benefit from having a doggy friend who is calm and confident who I can learn from and who can reassure me when needed.
