About Spartacus & Honey
Spartacus & Honey are a very strong bonded pair and have been together through thick and thin.
They have ended up in care through no fault of their own.
Their owner has mental health issues, so he is unable to care for them.
Spartacus has recently been desexed and Honey has had a benign lump removed from her shoulder.
These two are a instant family for someone that's looking for two sturdy rough and tumble goofballs.
Spartacus is a big Boofhead and hasn't a mean bone in his body.
Honey is miss little personality who adores her big brother.
Their lives have been turned upside down the last few weeks but they have a great foster carer that has put the time and effort into them and they have transitioned really well.
Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
