Hello, my name is Shilo and I'm a very timid and shy girl.
I've not had the best start to life. People who didn't love me, abandoned me at a local quarry at the age of 4 weeks. When they drove off I was scared and alone. A lovely man found me and cared for me for a few weeks, then I went to my new foster mummy's home.
I was scared and worried that she wouldn't love me either, it took me a few days to come out of my crate, slowly I am learning to trust people including little people. After a few weeks in care, I now follow my foster mum around the house. I do get scared when people outreach their arms at me, but once I am in your arms I loves cuddles and kisses.
I live with 3 big dogs and 3 other foster puppies, I really like to hang out and play but because I am very little they do knock me over sometimes so mum only lets me play for a short while. I also live with my foster dad and human brother who is 9.
My perfect home would be very quiet and very patient as I do take time to trust and build my confidence. I would really love a fur brother or sister to play with as long as they are gentle with me as I do scare a bit. I do like little kids but over 8 years as I get scared of sudden noises, loud noises and fast movements. I am an inside girl who also loves to spend some time outdoors in the sun, I love to sleep on foster mums bed.

Adoption details
Adoption Procees for adopting a Lucky Paws Dog Rescue pet.
An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 3 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
The Adoption is the. finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email. Please note this cna take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
