Hi! Je m’appelle Francois et je suis un chat grand! I’m also very affectionate, and patient with children too :) I do like to have a nice quiet space to take myself off to when they get a bit too much, though. I’m quite a shy puss cat, except with my loved ones. You’ll notice my spectacular coat. I hope you’re the sort of person who enjoys brushing a long haired cat as it takes a while to do. But a thorough brush every day or second day will keep my coat looking amazing, my skin healthy and make me feel comfortable too. And, ummmm, will help keep the shedding to a minimum.

If you want to go on holidays, please have someone stay at your house to mind me, because I do not like being boarded at all. I spent the first 9 months of my life in a cage in a cat shelter. When I was adopted, I was lucky that my soon to be best bud, Luna (PR# 578154), was there to teach me how to groom myself and how to be a proper cat. I won’t mind flying to my new home if it’s the right one for me though :) And, naturally, I’d like to stay with Luna. We belong together!

Back to the flying - a few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me - it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Flights to Perth for cats are capped at $50 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
