Luna (C3041)

Hi! I’m Luna. I’m an independent girl, full of personality and I loves a chat. I’m very long, but slim for a Maine Coon. I’m also polydactyl - I have two extra toes on each of my front paws. I’ve included a photo of when I was a baby so you can see what I mean.

I’m quite active and have a strong hunting drive and like to get outside. But it’s not good for cats to harm the environment, plus we live heaps longer on average when we’re inside cats. So in my new home, instead of being a free range cat, I’d really like to have a pretty fancy outdoor enclosure where I can spend my daytimes. Hmmm, it could have bushes, rocks, things for me to climb up on, a sort of really natural feel to it. Oh yeah, that would be awesome! And when I’m inside with you, you could play some hunting type games with me - like that Da Bird dangly toy. They even make a sound like bird wings. And one of those toy mice that looks almost real. And that Cat’s Meow toy!

Of course, I want to be with my best friend, Francois (PR# 578155), too. He’s a sweetie. My coat won’t need as much looking after as his, because Maine Coons don’t need as much care as other long haired breeds. The odd brush will do me.

I’m not much of a one for children, although I’d never lash out at them. I’ll like cuddles at night time and of course, some conversation.

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like me - it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. Flights to Perth for cats are capped at $50 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
