About Petal
Sweet Petal has been through quite a lot in the last 12 months, and is ready to find her happily ever after. She was found as a stray and, like many dogs, found the environment terrifying. Rescue Hub was her last option, and after being in foster care Petal has shown us all what a beautiful girl she really is.
Shortly after being placed in foster care, Petal was discovered to have tumours on and under her stomach. They were all removed, and she has been cleared by our vet as being cancer free!
Petal enjoys a walk every day or two, and may suit someone who works full time as she is happy to be a couch potato during the day. She has met dogs during her walks and will play with them after slow introductions. She is not good with cats.
Petal adores people as well as children. She has learned not to jump up on people, and will only jump up onto the couch or bed after being invited to do so.
After a rough year, Petal deserves her own forever home. She has a lot of love to give, and would love a forever home.
Medical notes
Petal has had skin cancers removed from her stomach in the past, and has been cleared by our vet as cancer free.
Petal also has pet sunscreen applied to her when she is outside sun-baking, to help prevent any tumours coming back. She currently does not have a protective sun suit, but it may be an option besides sunscreen.
