About Calvin *On Trial in His New Home*
*CALVIN IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Calvin is the dog-equivalent of that really good mate you have who is happy to just hang around with you and watch TV or potter in the garden - but also completely understands when you just want some time to yourself.
He was named after Calvin Klein as he was such a good looking boy when SARG rescued him as a pup from our local pound, and sadly - but through no fault of his own - he is back with them 6¾ years later. And he is still a good looking bloke (even with his crooked teef!)!
Calvin's foster mum says he has the waggiest tail of ANY dog she has ever met, and he ADORES an ear rub! He also loves food and his tail just about wags itself off when it’s tucker time! He does the cutest "doggy dance" when it is dinner time, but is very polite and well-mannered when eating. He also sits and walks well on a lead and loves a car trip.
And best of all - he is well and truly over the annoying puppy stage!
Calvin has a cute smile with his undershot jaw, and he smiles often! He was raised with kids, cats, birds and chooks, and slept outside most of his life (but he loves coming in for some company and a cuddle, he’s toilet-trained and very well-behaved inside). He is currently fostered with 6 other dogs and doesn't have a nasty bone in his body - he just wants to give everyone kisses!
Perhaps Calvin could stand to lose a few kg (he was 30kg at his recent checkup), but he loves a walk and if you are working on that "summer body"... perhaps you can be exercise mates?
He is not a barky dog and isn't in your face. He simply loves everyone!
He is just a relaxed, cruisey dude!
We’re still not sure what breeds make up Calvin; as a pup our vets guessed Kelpie/Heeler/Terrier mix and we thought we could see some Staffy in there too though whatever breeds he is they all work beautifully together to make Calvin a very well-balanced dude!

Calvin is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and wormed.
DOB: 7/12/10.
Weight: 30kgs.
Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
