About Haskell
Look at this handsome man!
Meet Haskell – he is an all-round great dog. This beautiful boy has an absolutely gorgeous nature. He is laid back most of the time and happy to laze around the house. But he really does love some attention as well and loves getting a cuddle and belly scratch from his people. In fact, if you stop giving him the attention and he desires more, then he will put his paw up to remind you that he is still there!
Haskell is friends with everyone – human and dogs alike. He is great with people of all ages, including kids, and he greets you with a waggy tail and smile. Haskell has been friendly with every dog that he has met while in care and enjoys the company of other calm doggy friends. He is starting to discover toys and will occasionally be caught with one that he throws up in the air for fun.
Walkies are the best time for Haskell as he loves getting out and about to sniff and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Grab the lead and you see his excitement come out. He is good to walk on lead though he is overweight at the moment and should be given appropriate exercise for building up his fitness levels gradually. His new family should be committed to a healthy diet for weight loss and consistent exercise to ensure that he spends the rest of his days healthy and happy.
A whole range of homes will suit Haskell but we are looking for a place where he will be considered part of the family and allowed indoors. He loves company so would enjoy someone home more often than not or another calm doggy friend for company. No cats please - they are way too exciting for Haskell. It is preferred that his new owners are aware of the needs of long coated dogs as he was not particularly well maintained in his previous home. Whoever adopts this boy will be one lucky family.
If you would like to bring Haskell into your family then please let us know by filling in an adoption application on our website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
