Arabella (MD0006) *adoption pending*

Arabella is still a big puppy at heart and the sweetest friend you can get. She gets closely attached to her loved ones and loves company. Whenever you are home, she will follow you around trying to “help” you to garden, make the bed and do the laundry; always curious what will happen next. She loves cuddles and will entice you in to giving her plenty by winning you over with her big puppy dog eyes or, without considering her size, trying to get in your lap.

Arabella’s favourite thing in life is to be a “good girl” and she always tries to please. She is therefore easily trained and learns quickly (especially if you have a treat in your pocket). She has started being trained by her foster carer but, like any dog her age, she still needs some training. A smart dog like Arabella also needs boundaries, especially with regard to her size. She therefore needs a steady yet affectionate leader.

She must be taken for a walk every day for at least an hour (can be 30 minutes morning and 30 minutes evening). She loves going to a dog-friendly park where she can stretch her long legs, and to the beach where she can cool off in the water after all the running and playing (and saving you from “drowning”).

Arabella has great attributes for someone who leads a moderately active lifestyle – as long as she gets her daily exercise, she’s happy to chill at home. She is people-friendly and dog-friendly but not good with cats and “pocket animals”. She is loyal, rarely barks, loves a game of tug-o’-war with her toys, is house-trained, travels well in vehicles and loves pats and cuddles.

If you live far away, she can even fly to you :)
