Spike (MD0004)

Spike is just a small fella, and is gentle, even when taking treats from your fingers. He is good on the lead, loves his daily walks and doesn’t turn a hair when passing houses with barky dogs. He is quiet too, easy to pick up, and enjoys a cuddle on your lap. He even accepts pats from strangers. One of his FAVOURITE things is to lie on his back for a tummy rub:)))))) Or when Foster Mum invites him to sit next to her on the couch :)

Spike is very people-oriented and loves to be in the same room you are. His ideal home is where someone is home most of the time, such as someone who works from home or is retired. He really, really needs human company in his little world. He will do his best to escape his yard if you’re not home so secure fences and gates are a must. He could also be crated if left home alone for short periods or left inside. Other than this, Spike is really well behaved.

Spike is best not homed with pet cats, birds, chooks or roosters; he’s way too interested in them. He may live with a female dog pending meeting, otherwise he’d be fine as an only dog.
