About Storm **Adoption Pending**
Storm by name, but certainly not by nature! Storm is one laid-back, easy going and affectionate girl. Taking everything in her stride, she has been well socialised and so gets on well with people and dogs. She’s a confident girl whose favourite thing in the world is to go to the dog park and play chasey with her doggy pals.
She LOVES to be part of the family, so expects to be involved in family outings in the car, to the beach, and quiet evenings at home... getting belly rubs or laying at your feet. True to her breed she’s very loyal, and as such would really love a family to call her own – whether that be a young couple who likes beach outings, a tradie taking her to work, or a running partner keeping her fit (she keeps up really well with her long legs!). Her cruisey attitude would make for a great work companion.
Storm would be happy to have a fur sibling or be on her own, as long as she’s getting some love and affection! She’s low energy but being a young dog, does like to have the opportunity to burn off some energy with a play or a daily walk. She also likes chasing a ball around the yard, playing tug and throwing around her toys, so she can entertain herself at home while you’re at work.
Storm has fantastic manners in the house and around other people – she is toilet trained, knows sit, drop, shake, and great on lead. She truly is a pleasure to have around!
If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate, well-mannered and laid-back member of the family, who will only ever give way more than she receives, contact us to meet the beautiful Storm!
She would need to go to a home with no pocket pets or poultry.
Storm has had surgery for cherry eye, and has healed well. She also has an undershot jaw, which may require additional dental care in future. Neither of these issues currently cause Storm any pain or discomfort, or impact her life in any way.
Storm is currently located in Middle Park, QLD.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
To meet, adopt or find out more details on this animal, please fill in our adoption application at our website- http://www.safehavenanimalrescueinc.com
Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
