About Meggsy (Cav17-145)
Meggsy is a lovely, personable kitty with a beautiful face and a very appealing personality. She is the ideal companion for an older person or any family looking for an affectionate cat who will come in and make herself known.
She is not nervous or timid and will have no trouble scoping out the house to find the best spots for lazing in the sun and demanding the attention of her new servants... I mean, family. Meggsy has always been a loved companion but was given away when her family decided to travel the world. She kept trying to tell them that travelling through Venice in a gondola was actually her dream come true and they should take her along, but it didn't happen. Do you have a gondola? If so, you're exactly what Meggsy has been looking for! If not, surely you can make her feel just as special.
Meggsy is extremely smoochy and affectionate. She enjoys people and would like to spend the better part of her day on your bed/couch/lush pet bed. Miss M has lived with other pets before, however she is very much the boss. We would recommend that she be the only cat in the home. She has also lived with 2 chow chows but they were wrapped around her little paw so as long as your dog doesn't mind getting walked all over, she'll be fine! She is very affectionate and friendly with children.
Maybe your lonely, or just missing something in your home. Maybe you just need someone to love, and love you in return. Meggsy's bags are packed, she's ready to go - all she needs now is a destination! Apparently it's not Venice, so it had better be your place!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
