About Pumpkins Spice
You heard it here first, baby Pumpkins Spice is 100% all things nice!
Last of his litter and family (9 other brothers and sisters as well as his mama have all been adopted), this little guy is surely the best saved till last.
Yes, Pumpkins has extremely good looks.
Yes, Pumpkins has a boop-a-bull nose and kissabull toes.
Yes, Pumpkins has the most beautiful brindle tiger pants a puppy ever did have.
And yes, Pumpkins has a most sweet, gentle, fun, charming, playful, sooky personality to boot!
Thought to be a mix breed of possibly Bull Arab x American Staffy, Pumpkins is going to be a big boy once he reaches his adult size. Big, but not gigantic.
Pumpkins was born on the 15th of July 2017 which makes him 12 weeks old today (the day of his listing).
After arriving in foster care four weeks ago Pumpkins has achieved so much for such a little guy. He has started on daily walks to the park meeting lots of new canine friends of all ages, sizes and breeds. Already midway through puppy school, Pumpkins is top of his class. He already responds well to his name, knows to sit, drop and come on cue, almost nailing it with shake and roll over too.
Did I mention that Pumpkins is pretty much the perfect puppy? No? Well he is.
A few points to note about Pumpkins:
- This little bug was 100% toilet trained from day 2 in foster care.
- He plays well with his older canine foster siblings. Gentle with older little dogs and a bit more rambunctious with the bigger more energetic dogs.
- Pumpkins is a real human snugger.
- He sleeps through the night and a fair bit through the day.
- So far Pumpkin's hasn't showed any signs of crazy puppy mischief, no digging, barking, chewing on furniture. Nothing.
The perfect home for Pumpkins would be as follows:
- Top of the list and deal breaker is that Pumpkins needs a canine brother or sister. He would love to live in a multiple dog household and will not be rehomed as an only dog.
- Pumpkins would suit a family who are home more than not. However he would also suit a family who work normal 9-5 hours, provided they are prepared to spend the first few days/week at home settling him in with routine (a weekend is not enough time to settle in a new puppy).
- While not a necessity, it would be great if Pumpkins forever family had some previous big dog experience.
- Pumpkins is a fairly active guy, he sleeps a lot and doesn't get up to too much trouble but only if he has had at least one daily walk/run/play down at a local park/dog beach.
- It would be preferable for Pumpkins to live in the Sydney area as his foster parents would like to conduct an in person interview and home check. Interstate adoption may be considered for the perfect home, however please be prepared for a detailed process with lots of video & photos of your home (& current pets) to be supplied.
Medical notes
Pumpkins has already had his big boy operation (desexed) & two of his three puppy vaccinations.
The senior vet at Balmain Veterinary Hospital has given Pumpkins a full health check stating that his heart, lungs, knees, joints and teeth are perfect.
