Peppa (D3674)

Peppa is a beautiful girl - very clever, loving and obedient. She is well trained and will never jump on people when she is excited. Fetch is her favourite game, and she could play all day every day. Two walks a day, some daily training and some play time and chill out time with you will keep this active girl relaxed and happy.

Peppa is just over 30kg, so smallish for a German Shepherd, but still obviously a largish dog. But this doesn’t stop her from wanting to join you on the couch for a cuddle - when she’s invited, of course :) She gets along with dogs her size when out on walks, but is confused by smaller dogs and sometimes can be too rough with them. Shepherds play with their feet, so can be annoying to other dogs. And with their wolf-like look, they can be quite intimidating to other dogs, even when they’re well behaved - so other dogs can be reactive even when the shepherd is well behaved. Quite aside from all that, we are looking for Peppa to be an only pet, as she will always want to push any other animals in the home out of the way so that she can have all the attention to herself.

A few hours in a plane is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals like Peppa if it means they have the opportunity to be adopted.
