About Taffy
Hello! My name is Taffy and I can tell you think I look gorgeous and cheeky – well I am actually. I’m three years old and ready for a new forever family.
I want a family without kids please but I’d love it if you have another young dog that I can play with, and I don’t even mind if you have cats. In both of my foster homes I connected closely with another young playful dog of a similar size to me and I’d love to have a forever fur sibling that I can romp with. You’ll need to continue guiding me to not get cranky over food or possessions towards my sibling but otherwise I’m a pretty good girl with dogs that I have met.
I admit though that I was pretty naughty towards my first family who loved me to the moon and back, but I would get possessive and I would get snappy. My foster families have helped me on the road to understanding that behaviours like those are not ok but I need to have a family to help me remember – I want you to want to train me to be the best I can be.
I enjoy a weekly brush. I will just lay there whilst my new family brushes me and when you are done I will come back for more, I enjoy it that much. This helps me maintain my thin coat. I am also very inquisitive. As much as I like to lay down and relax, I also like to follow my humans and see what is always going on. This way I never miss out on anything.
I can sit & drop on command and I know how to stay. I walk well on lead and am still learning to come when called but doing ok with that. I’m pretty good with general good manners now. If you think I could fit into your family and you are prepared to help me with me training please send me an email – well, send it to caninelifeline@hotmail.com and they’ll read it to me – so that I can choose you!

Taffy is a three year old maltese x Pomeranian. She is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm treated. She has recently had a dental and has no major medical requirements, but her adopting family must be prepared to work with her behavioural requirements so that she isn’t able to return to former bad behaviours.
Medical notes
Taffy has no major medical requirements.
