Weezer

Weezer is a sweet 8 month old Wolfhound Great Dane/Bull Arab x Kelpie Currently living in Abbotsford.

This gentle girl is a people lover and quite the cuddler. She’ll win you over with her big brown eyes and a hilarious disregard for personal space. If given the chance she’ll snuggle in wherever she possibly can.

She’s got the basics down (sit, come, waiting for dinner) but is still learning her manners (not jumping, barking when nervous and touching food that’s not hers!). She’s been very responsive to training but will need an family that’s willing to put in time to continue it.
She would benefit from puppy school for both learning and socialisation in a controlled environment as she seems to not have a lot of experience playing with other dogs just yet (but is completely fine on the lead with others!).

She still has her puppy playfulness so she needs a home that can give her a good walk or two a day as well as toys and play to ensure she doesn’t get bored/bouncy/chewy/vocal. She loves walking, though loooves to stop and sniff everything and anything so is best on a Gentle Leader (though she’s still getting used to it!).

Due to her size and her puppy excitability she would be best suited to a home without small children to bowl over. Fine with vacuums and hairdryers, less fine with possums, other dogs barking and cats (has not been properly tested or introduced but she likes to chase!).
