About Bae-Bi & Boo
Bae-Bijoux and her sister Boo-Hissy came into care via a Western Sydney pound when they were around 4 weeks old. They were a little wary as young orphans and hissy for a whole day & a half before their purrs started to kick in. They were so tiny!
Now they're all grown up in foster care and they have proven themselves to be impressive athletes! They are parkour experts and you can find them leaping over furniture, humans and each other with amazing grace and agility. They are also both skilled screen door climbers and you might find one of them perched on the top of your front door needing rescue. #nofear
These girls are incredibly affectionate. They enjoy regular snuggles. They take turns though. Sometimes they like to snuggle on the lounge. Sometimes they like to snuggle with you in bed. Bae-Bi takes forever and ever to get comfortable. At times they will crawl up into your arms and settle themselves on your chest. You need to immediately cease all other activities and engage in a snuggle. They purr... and mean it.
They are perfect napping partners. I have fallen asleep many a time with these two snuggled into my neck and chest. They also are brilliant early morning snugglers. Bae-Bi likes to curl up against your chest or face and fall asleep (generally when you are due to get up!) and Boo likes to be patted, stroked and kissed before she settles on your side or chest. When together, they sleep with each other in a hammock or curled up in each others arms on the lounge. It melts your heart.
These girls have been the most perfect foster kittens. They are not just sisters. They are the very best of friends.
All my foster kittens grow up in my home as part of my own brood. They are loved and fed and nurtured with a great deal of love and care. No expense is spared in regards to their diets or health. They have been fed a diet of high quality kitten mousse, fresh poached chicken, and raw beef, as well as a high quality kitten dry formula - mostly a grain free diet.
They have been an absolutely perfect pair and a total delight to be foster mother to. They have also provided me with so many laughs - leaping and launching at each other. Performing amazing flips and twists midair that would make an aerial artist jealous! Imagine a ninja crossed with a gymnast and a ballerina … And that is these girls in a nutshell.
They're currently obsessed with strings and ribbons, so all things stringy have to be removed or hidden! Their favourite toys are pebbles, balls and chocolate Roses wrappers for their shininess and crinkle factor. Hours of entertainment right there - you get chocolate, they get a toy! Win win!
They have grown up with cat-friendly dogs and kitten-friendly cats, so if you have existing cat friendly cats or cat-friendly dogs, they will fit right in with gradual introductions.
These girls are an inseparable packaged deal. Bae-Bi and Boo will only be homed together, and they must be indoor cats. Society today is far too dangerous for cats to be outside - especially dark girls who are far too brave and curious for their own good!
Adoption details
* At the time of commencing a trial adoption, the adoption amount is paid with an interim receipt issued, plus a change-of-ownership form is filled out and signed by the adopter. Barnville hold onto the change of ownership form for the duration of the trial adoption period.
* The trial adoption period is for 2 weeks (or longer if necessary), whereby the cat/kitten is to be kept indoors at all times.
* If the trial adoption is successful, the change-of-ownership form is submitted to council and the cat/kitten's vet paperwork is posted to the adopter. The official tax-deductible receipt of adoption payment is emailed then also, so it can be claimed on at tax time.
* If the adoption is not successful within the trial adoption period, the adoption donation is fully refunded and the cat/kitten is happily welcomed back to Barnville :-) Beyond the trial adoption period, Barnville will happily take back any cats which were adopted from them, no matter what the reason is.
* We are always happy to hear from you after adoption (and beyond!) to offer advice or just receive happy updates :-) =^..^=
