About Jessie
Pretty lady Jessie arrived into care and this little chunky girl is on the lookout for her very own home. Jessie is a 6.5 year old Labrador x golden retriever female who adores kids and would love a family that she can join on the morning school run.
Jessie is good both indoors and outdoors and would do great in a home with another dog who wants to play and interact with her. And be a good companion. She said best suited to a home with a lower energy dog and one that isn't in her face. She doesn't seem to cope well with high energy dogs.
She seems to enjoy the company of males and females dogs but is a bit flirty with the boys, so would easily suit a home with a kind male dog.
She does enjoy the company of people, so a home with someone that is home more often than not may suit her if she is an only dog. But we don't think she would do well in a home as an only dog with full time workers, she does like company more than anything.
She is best suited to a home without cats and will need secure fencing free from holes and gaps.
A walk a day would suit her well or maybe a car ride. But we wouldn't recommend a home that wants to take her to a dog park. A good diet and exercise regime is best suited to her, she is a little chunky so a good diet would suit her well.
Jessie is located in the Hunter Valley and her adoption fee is $350.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
