About Lady
I'm such a cute and friendly little miss! My foster mum tells me I don't live up to my name much because I'm not very ladylike but I don't know what that even means! I just love to run and play and get up to mischief and have lots of fun.
I'm good around other small dogs and get on just fine with cats. I haven't had too much to do with bigger dogs but with my positive outlook and happy-go-lucky personality I think I would get along with just about anyone! I was born and grew up in a small country town. My family didn't have proper fences to keep m in so I was always running around and getting picked up by the rangers. Everyone was worried I would get squashed by a car! My family couldn't afford to build fences (or get me desexed or microchipped) so the rangers took me away.
I was a bit sad but I'm super excited to find a perfect family and start my new life, somewhere that I will be kept safe and looked after like part of the family.
Although I'm small, I still need to be walked and exercised every day. I would love to go on adventures to find places with you. I've never seen the ocean but I've heard about this great place called the beach! I would like to live inside the house with you and have a comfy place to sleep.
As long as you have secure fences all the way to the ground, your yard should be fine for me. I can become part of almost any family so come and meet me today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
