About Gus (on adoption trial)
Meet GUS a 7 month old male Boxer X Great Dane who loves people!
Gus has completed pre school and level 1 puppy training, and responds to ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘touch’, and ‘kiss’ commands and has even learnt to ring bells.
He has a lot of energy, but also loves to snuggle up on the lounge with his foster carer. Gus loves the water, and gnawing down on cut apples and carrots for treats.
Gus would be best suited for a single dog home, with no younger children as he will grow quite large in size. However older children would be fine.
Gus is looking for a home where he will be part of the family, living as an inside outside dog and sleeping indoors at night. He is only a pup and would benefit from ongoing training as he is quite energetic, regular walks & play time are recommended.
Gus is an extremely loving dog, and would make the perfect companion for any owner. If you like the sound of Gus and can offer him the home he is looking for, he would love to hear from you.
All our dogs have a two week trial period in their new home.

If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please email us at poundrescue@yahoo.com with a brief description of the family home you can offer - the number of adults and children in the home, other pets, how long the animal would be left on its own each day, whether your fencing is secure and so on.
Please then follow up with a phone call to Mariette on 0404491918 or Debra on 0412 698 117 and we will put you in touch with the animal's foster carer.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
