About Uki
Look at this gorgeous girl, Uki!
Such a sweet and happy puppy. Uki is really friendly and wants to meet everyone - people and dogs. She ALWAYS wants smooches and pats with people and just loves to be close to her humans. She also loves belly rubs and swimming.
Uki is good around cats too - she goes up to them to say hi but when they hiss, she backs off quickly and leaves them alone! She's also been around horses, chooks and livestock previously with no issues at all.
Whilst in care, Uki has been having some training and she’s mostly very obedient - she always comes back when her foster mummy calls her name and (almost) always sits when she is told. She’s also learning to shake hands and lie down. She can walk really well on the leash - she doesn’t pull at all and is almost perfect at heeling!
A funny girl that will entertain you, she can be a bit clumsy at times - she’s new to this “being a dog” thing and sometimes she falls off the couch or doesn’t walk down the stairs correctly! I think it's those long gangly legs that she trips over!!
Uki is great with other dogs and loves to play. Currently in care with another dog, she enjoys the doggy company. She loves every dog she meets and plays very gently with small dogs too.
Any family looking to adopt this girl will need to be committed to her ongoing training, socialisation and exercise. Uki needs to be a part of the family and involved in the activities and fun stuff. She should be allowed inside and have a nice comfy bed inside to sleep. Due to her being a larger breed, she needs minimum 6ft secure fencing also.
Uki will need someone home every day for company, with or without another playful dog. She'd love going to work with her owner also. She's not suited to being left alone all day and will cry.
If you believe you will make this girl a great home, then please apply for her by completing an adoption form via our website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
